![]() There's always so much to do Down South and the school holidays this April are no exception! The beach is alive with surfers, swimmers & sunbathers soaking in the warm weather & great waves for swimming, surfing, fishing & more! Check out the Middleton Beach toilet block reno. It will look amazing when finished using handmade tiles by local students — clever & cool! And take time to admire the street art along the Middleton esplanade where you'll find our gorgeous Bathing Beauties. There is always heaps to do with a bit of shopping & local outdoor markets, hittin' the surf, a fashion parade & of course a peaceful walk along the waters edge... It all began with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.
Only two-and-a-half years ago we stood in the overgrown backyard of what was to become "Beach Lovers Middleton." The pounding of the surf, the sea spray on our faces, the taste of salt heavy in the air and seagulls circling overhead....it was time to make a dream come true. Since then it's been long hours of hard work and renovation madness — and more money spent then we care to consider. But all this has been combined with long walks on the beach, heaps of great coffee & getting to know the locals — some of the best people in the world! So please join us here at Beach Lovers Blog to celebrate the pristine Southern coastline that includes Middleton, Goolwa, Port Elliot & Victor Harbor on the gorgeous Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. Here we will share everything & anything that represents the surf, sun and sand & the lifestyle unique to the area. Please share your news, events, photos and spread the word. We hope to grow this online community and become a valuable source of information to visitors and residents alike who are passionate about the beach lifestyle. —BLM |
